Story from www.wrc.com
May: Armindo Araujo was by no means a big hitter in terms of the final outcome of the Acropolis Rally, Greeces round of the WRC, but this image of the Portuguese crossing the Corinth Canal shortly after leaving service in Loutraki en route to a special stage is truly spectacular. For the record, Araujo finished 11th overall in his MINI John Cooper Works WRC, more than half an hour behind Citroens rally winner Sebastien Loeb. Despite his best efforts, Araujo wasnt even the first MINI finisher home with Abdulaziz Alkuwari completing the event in 10th overall to score his first world championship point.
