Express Insurance Announce Britain Loves Biking Competition – win the chance to attend the 2011 Moto GP at Valencia

Express Insurance has launched a search for Britain’s most passionate motorbike-lover, with a grand prize of a weekend for two to the final round of the 2011 Moto GP in Valencia up for grabs.

The specialist bike insurance broker, based in Birmingham, has launched a Facebook competition to find the UK’s ultimate bike enthusiast with the winner announced later this year, ahead of this winter’s Moto GP season finale at the Circuito de la Comunitat Valenciana.

To participate, bikers must first of all take on the following challenges and then, if they qualify, progress to a Grand Final Challenge which decides the ultimate winner. The challenges are:

• Challenge 1 – Community – entrants must demonstrate how they have developed a sense of community within the world of motorbikes. Do they take part in biking holidays, head out for Sunday rides or share their passion with other bike lovers?
• Challenge 2 – Travel – entrants must demonstrate what bike travel means to them. This could be anything from a favourite biking route to favourite biking holidays and can be UK based or worldwide.
• Challenge 3 – Sport – What role does bike sport play in people’s lives? Do they participate at a local level in clubs and associations? Do they attend British Superbikes or other top class racing events?

Entries can be submitted in video, image, graphic, text or audio format to >BLB@ expressinsurance.co.uk and will be uploaded to Express’s Facebook page, facebook.com/ExpressInsuranceUK, with Facebook users able to cast votes for their favourites using the ‘like’ and comment functions. The entrant with the most votes (‘likes’) will be the monthly winner and will win prizes such as Xbox 360s, experience days, motorbike accessories and much more.

For the chance to win a trip to the Moto GP in Valencia, entrants must qualify to compete in the Grand Final Challenge, taking place in early October. To qualify for the Grand Final Challenge, participants must feature in a league of top 10 entrants which will be compiled following the completion of the monthly challenges. The top 10 will consist of three winners from the qualifying months and a further seven entrants who have accrued the most votes for one entry cast throughout the duration of the competition.

The top 10 entries will again be showcased for fans to vote on, with the Grand Final Challenge winner joining star names such as Valentino Rossi, Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo and up to 150,000 race fans at the Moto GP season finale in Valencia on Sunday 6th November.

The competition opened on 4th July with the winner of the trip to Valencia announced on Monday 10th of October 2011.
